Today my sister Jewel went home. She has struggled for a while and yet she entered the loving arms of our Lord peacefully. Some of us are of the age where we find saying goodbye has become the norm. However, even what appears to be normal feels far from it. Our heart aches and our thought patterns go to and fro.....yet the peace that passes all understanding is ours because God has said it is so. Hallelujah! As we walk through the valley of the shadows of death, Jewel is now actually lying beside the still waters. The promise that God will never forsake us, either in this life or in death, is ours!
